Hello .......
How nice it would be, to receive some greetings from overseas (??) maybe from England ?? , USA ?? - Australia ??, which is sort of my favourite country, since I have been there for 6 months some years ago, which I enjoyed very much. I am sure there is a lot of other lovely countries also, and I would love to hear about them.
Also I have a hope for comming back to Australia on holliday one day, to visit my family down under ....... But, I do like to write to people from everywhere, but it has to be in english.
Well, I am 52 yrs. old girl , young I mean. Have 2 lovely children - their father passed away some years ago, but life is fine again.

By day, I am a (retired) researcher for a colleagues public television program. Two evenings a week, I serve as the Founder and Facilitator of a womens writing support group. By night, at least until bedtime, I write whatever comes to mind. As a published, performance poet, I love to write, read and share my craft. very difficult to try and describe oneself. Outgoing personality,loyal,compassionate seeking female friends only anywhere in the world. Hello!
Would you be the one who would be interested in corresponding with a widowed lady? I am not interested in romance as such.
I had played several sports in my younger days and I have been a teacher of crafts and been involved with several hobbies.
I am a descendant of a Scottish mother and a VERY English father.
I married a wonderful, loving Hungarian and we were married very happily for nearly fifty years until he sadly had a heart attack and passed away leaving me all alone to fend for myself. I loved him very much.
We went to the same school as youngsters, but didnt really notice each other until years later when we fell in love and married.
We raised three children who now have their own families which includes six grandchildren who are scattered in far away places.
I own my own home, have a greenhouse, garage, plants galore and a small pond filled with gold fish. A resident friend, or caregiver if you
prefer helps me to get around among other things as I do have certain physical impairments
as a result of the sports I played in my youth.
I am interested in writing to people of my own age group and not particularly interested in playing mommy or grandma to strangers.
I like to watch old movies. especially musicals, listen to music and I enjoy watching some sports such as tennis, hockey and the Olympics. I also like to keep certain tropical fish. I have worked in ceramics and several other crafts. I would like to learn more about European places including England, Scotland and Hungary.
Hopefully we can find many mutually interesting things to discuss.
