Retired 69 year young industrial controls designer. My wife and I live with four sight hounds and two cats.
I've out lived most of my friends and would like someone to correspond with once in a while.
I enjoy building things, either machanical or electrical and have a fair shop setup to do that.
Over the years I've "automated" our home (built in 1925) so that it gets about 20% of it's heating from a very simple solar system. The same system can be "shifted" such that it does supply about 50% of our cooling load during the summer.
While not as active as I used to be I still get around pretty good.

I have a great purpose in life and thats to live & let live.My main destination is to travel with all kinds of friends as far and as much as possible.I like to chat,I love my computer,playing games such as mahjong,scrabble,pyramids and many more,these games are a great connection to other people's world as there is a tiny chat room for all walks of life during our game playing.I worked in nursing until retirement,I raised my son and sent him onto collage,he left to join the army(desert storm) then returned home to finish his college term(s).....
My son recently married and has twin boys.
I have traveled a bit;I went on two separate cruises to Canada,I went to Bermuda,a few years to visit a friend in Rapid City South Dakota/good old western days.
I was born on a farm so I favor the country.I went to Chinese New Years in New York city many years ago,it was an evening to remember,I do enjoy people,places and things.
I love my pets,I have two dogs/male & female and two cats both male,they fight all the time but I continue to keep them separated by putting one out the front door & one out the back door then pray they don't meet.(smile).I'm a very sprirual oriented person,I do not believe in harming any thing or anyone I do my best to accept life on lifes terms.I also do my best to live within the means of life and whats expected of me.I have a great connection with mother earth,the tree's exhale oxygen for people to breath in,then the tree's inhale our toxins,
so we can enjoy clean air.Mother earth has served me well.May all that walk this earth be more than grateful for what we have been given so freely.
I have found among it's other benifits,giving liberates the soul of the giver.
