Hi,
I'm a retired teacher looking for penpals of any age and gender to write to. I like people, enjoy learning about them, sharing ideas/dreams/goals/hopes/fears and making friends.
I've traveled extensively throughout the U.S. (except for the southwest), all across Canada, and I lived in China for 4 years as a foreign expert in the late 1990's. I love China and miss it very much.
I love to sew - patchwork quilts - but I'm slow and do it by hand.
I love reading cozy mysteries, historical mysteries, sci fi thrillers, and the dictionary! I enjoy nature photography and my idea of a perfect day is taking a long, slow drive in the country with my camera by my side, seeking wildflowers, country lanes, creeks, deer, old trees with character, and fat lazy cows. I also enjoy going to the movies (my all time favorites include: Independence Day, MIB, It Could Happen One Night, Casablanca, all the Harry Potter movies and Lord of the Rings.
Please note: I'm divorced with one grown son and I'm not interested in seeking romance/serious relationship.
